Purpose
Love the City exists to engage the needs of our city as we seek to cultivate and create a redemptive environment by sharing God's love through specific mercy ministries and service activities for the glory of God and the good of our city. Since nobody will ever remember all that, we just say "Love the City."
Current Ministries
Mall Office:
Our Church office is located in the Foothills Mall, right next to Belk. We offer free coffee and water to mall walkers and shoppers every day. We offer free wifi, video games, and a relaxing area to hang out. Many of our ministries operate from this space and if you would like to use it for a community event, let us know. Come by and visit us and find out more about what God is doing at GCF.
Free Health Screenings:
Health Screens are offered in our mall office. They include: blood pressure check, heart rate check, nervous system analysis, and cholestoral check.
Jump Night at the Mall
Jump Night is a great way for us to serve families in our community. We provide a fun and family freindly environment where parents can bring their children to experience the Jump Zone for free. We offer face painting, popcorn, and games all for free. Jump Night is offered the last Wednesday of the month (5pm-7pm).
English as a Second Language (ESL)
We provide ESL classes in our mall office to help people who want to better their English speaking skills. This class is for adults, and it is taught to all ethnic backgrounds.
Careers Development Classes
Many people in our city are unemployed, or need assistance in furthering his or her career. CDC classes are designed to assist people by providing resume building skills, interviewing skiils, networking, and job placement organizations.

Family Promise of Blount County
Family Promise is a community response to Homeless Families with children in Blount County. As a church, we desire to care for the needy, orphan, and widow. Not only because we are commanded to do so in James 1:27, but we also do this because it reflects a God who cares for us. Without God’s unconditional love toward us in sending his Son to die for us, we are in fact without an eternal home.

Teen Challenge of East TN
Teen Challenge exists to evangelize people who have life-controlling problems and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society applying spiritually motivated Biblical principles to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation, and the community. Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.

Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries
Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries mission is to seek to rescue the poor and needy of the Knox Area by providing recovery services in Jesus' name.
