CHILDREN ARE PART OF THE CHURCH

We believe the Bible teaches that children are a part of God's family.  Jesus himself calls children to follow him.  In fact, all people are to model a childlike faith.  It is no surprise that we are serious about ministry to children and their families.

Our primary ministry focus is to provide biblical teaching for children.  Learn more below.  For more information, please contact Heather Grigg.

On Sundays, children & parents with toddlers going to nursery will meet at the entrance of the Theater at 11:15 am or immediately after the children's sermon to walk down to the Ministry Center together.

Gospel

TEaching

We want our children to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Jesus Storybook Bible is our curriculum of choice at Grace.

Our Children's worship & nursery starts at about 11:15 am or as soon as Children's sermon is complete in our Worship Service. Our teachers & teachers' assistants prepare a craft and/or activity that coincides with the weekly lesson to further help our children learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the story beneath all the stories in the Bible, pointing to Jesus as our Savior. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, as the story unfolds, children will clearly see that Jesus is at the center of God's great story of salvation - and at the center of their story too.

The Jesus Storybook Bible contains 21 stories from the Old Testament & 23 stories from the New Testament, presented in an easy-to-understand way that makes learning about the Bible as fun for younger children, preschool & below, as it is for older children, kindergarten to 6th grade.
